Can I put a 140x200 mattress on a 140x190 bed base?

No. It would overhang by 10 cm and deform with use. The mattress must be placed on a bed base or storage bed of the same size.

We are a couple with very different weights; which mattress should we choose?

If one of you weighs more than 95 kg, choose the Colchón XL. Otherwise, choose the firmness based on the heavier person and how you sleep: firmer if you sleep on your back or stomach, slightly less firm if you sleep on your side.

How to choose if two people sleep on it

First, consider weight: all mattresses are guaranteed for up to 95 kg per person; if one of you weighs more than 95 kg, the recommended model is the Colchón XL. Next, firmness: firm if you sleep on your back or stomach, medium or medium-firm if you sleep on your side. If one of you gets hot, the VisCool is the coolest in the range. And the pocket-spring models reduce the transfer of movement to the other side.

140x200 or 135x190?

The 140x200 is 5 cm wider and 10 cm longer than the 135x190, the classic double bed size. Before buying, check the size of your bed base: a 200 cm mattress will not fit on a 190 base. If you are also changing the base, we have 140x200 storage beds with assembly included.
